We are urgently seeking warehouse distribution centre representative for one of Johannesburg leading manufacturing and distribution centre in the east rand. Qualified candidate will perform various functions that include fill and picking orders from stockpile, process outgoing and incoming goods and materials, ship orders and manage organization by receiving and dispatching stocks in the warehouse.
Responsibilities and Duties
Wear safety gears properly
Prepare Items to delivery
Sort and position Inventories in rack, shelves to meet organizational standards
Assist with merchandise shipment by receiving unloading truck
Open crates, containers and bales
Process request by preparing orders for supply, pack boxes, pull material by placing items in delivery location/area
Assist with the counting of physical items by maintaining inventory control, printing request, collect location orders and to receive item for distribution
Keep working area tidy, shelves, pallet. Warehouse should be well organize always
Requirement and Qualifications
Grade 12 / Diploma
Preferred experience in warehouse co-ordination 1-3 years
Physical Attributes
Able to climb, sit and balance items
Move objects 10 50lbs regularly
