Description
We live in an unacceptably violent country and as South Africans, we have learned to cope by developing a seemingly perpetual situational awareness to keep us out of trouble. Although not entirely unique to South Africa, most developed nations and many other developing countries allow people to be more relaxed in their day to day activities where the ever present danger of violence and violet crime are less prevalent. Being "on guard" has become a fundamental part of transnational South African lives and life in general can become very stressed living under duress.
Sadly very little can be done to change this situation any time soon, regardless of your social class and life stage. Gated communities offer those that can afford the extra security measures an escape from the harsh reality of life in South Africa, but you cannot live your life locked away behind gates and glass. South Africa still has a lot to offer and for those that enjoy the outdoors lifestyle. Leaving gated life behind for a weekend in the mountains or seaside is key. But heading out for that weekend escape is not without risks as you expose yourself to traffic, other people and life in general. You might have mitigated risk at home and high security workplace but sooner or later you will have to transact with portions of the general population and so it makes sense to have your life covered with an insurance product. Life insurance makes absolute sense for the family man who is responsible enough to raise a family and somehow still enjoy this crazy country we all call home.
You still have to live life to fullest and so be sure that you are adequately covered in the event that you encounter the dark force of violence and crime. Take responsibility for your family and visit http://lifecoversouthafrica.co.za/ for ideas and life cover opportunities.
