A fast paced, upmarket Retailer in Durban requires a Junior Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant to help keep growing. If you are hard-working and dedicated.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the marketing department's initiatives.
• Assist with Graphic Design edits and DTP.
• Social Media Content creation
• Conduct Customer surveys, market research and identify trends.
• Google AdWords Proficient
• Assist with product shoots & image editing.
• Roll-out of all campaign content (Digital & Print)
• Creative thinking to produce new ideas and concepts.
• Strong understanding of Brand Building
• Adhere to briefs given & meet deadlines!!!!! (Very Important)
• Evaluate and adapt designs based on feedback provided.
• General Assistance to Marketing Duties.
• Assisting with Online Duties when Required
REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma / Degree
• Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, Photoshop & In-design
• 2-3 years of experience in Graphic Design& Marketing
• Deadline driven.
• Strong layout and design skills
• Have a good eye for photography.
• General conceptualization and design of content
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
• Be Meticulous with duties and tasks.
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and still produce good quality results timeously.
• Must have a high level of creativity.
• Some experience with Video creation for Social Media
