Sandton, Johannesburg: REGISTERED DEBT COUNSELLOR
Minimum Requirements:
-Well presented and professional BEE (black) male or female, aged approximately 25-40 years (female preferred)
-Fully bilingual in English and one other local official South African language (Full proficiency in English required – speak, read and write)
-Matric / Grade 12
-Registered as a Debt Counsellor with NCR a must
-Recent Debt Counselling experience a must (Not Debt Collection)
-Clear criminal and credit records
-Stable employment record a must (no job hoppers, no unreasonable gaps in employment record, long term employment at previous employers etc.)
-Contactable References a must
-Company is situated 1 block from Sandton Gautrain station (Walking distance)
Duties:
-Debt Counselling and Debt Advisory
-Liaising with clients about their initial debt situation
-Assessing clients’ monthly income and expenditure
-Working with clients to determine priority payments
-Following up late payments/paperwork with clients.
-Monitor monthly instalments and report on default payments.
-Accurately maintain multiple clients' applications
-Follow all NCA and NCR regulations regarding the debt review application
Salary: R 10 000.00 – R 12 000.00 gross maximum
