Piston seized in sleeve. I’ve been waiting for 2 years for my new piston & sleeve to arrive, without any joy. Now I’ve decided to sell.
The bike was working great when the engine seized. The only part not operating was the oil metering pump – the previous owner had bypassed it, and didn’t mention a word as to why – just said it needs pre-mix in the fuel tank. I rode it with carefully mixed pre-mix up until the seizure.
Bike is currently disassembled to a large degree; all parts in boxes/wrapped in plastic as necessary.
Asking price: R5500 onco as is.
